If bar hopping and clubbing late into the night is your thing, then Colombo offers a multitude of places such as Flamingo House and REPUBLK. You’ll find all the hot dance tracks situated in an electric and vibrant atmosphere. Bars generally start service from the afternoon onwards, catering to lunch and dinner, while most clubs open after 7:00p.m. It is recommended that you arrive early to most clubs to gain entry as the queues can become massive later into the night.
The southern coastal cities such as Mirissa, Hikkaduwa and Unawatuna in Sri Lanka offer a completely different vibe compared to the cities, with beach parties and festivals occurring during most weekends. Sip margaritas by the sea and indulge in some freshly caught seafood (which you can see the fishermen catching if you arrive early!), before getting onboard with the festivities.
